-ARIA ON THE PLANETES- (アリア・オン・ザ・プラネテス) is a series of VOCALOID, CeVIO Creative Studio and CeVIO AI vocals (as well as human vocals) created and distributed by the company 1st PLACE Co., Ltd.. Currently there are three main vocalists in this series: IA, ONE & HIPPI.
Concept[]
IA, ONE & HIPPI are members of the fictional planet ARIA. A world similar to Earth with various life forms that resonate and co-exist together, several of whom raised IA and ONE.
Planet ARIA[]
The fictional virtual planet "ARIA", of which IA, ONE, and HIPPI, were born on, is a resonance world in which all life is equally loved, resonated, and symbiotic, while being in harmony with sound and light. The planet spreads in all directions and resonates with light and sound and emits vast amounts of energy, while maintaining the harmony of the entire planet.
In the life of ARIA, as an embodiment of the wisdom of the universe, the spirits who purify the planet where incongruity is widespread and become the messenger who harmonizes the universe, the leaders and spirits who purify and maintain harmony in ARIA, the vast nature, and the light are united, and various Zones are connected and coexist.
HABINA[]
HABINA is a virtual planet created together with members of the planet ARIA such as IA, ONE, and HIPPI and everyone who is a member of the planet Earth. HABINA incorporates the wisdom and ideas of both the planet Earth, where humans live, and the virtual planet ARIA, where IA, ONE, and HIPPI were born and raised. It's scale is said to be magnificent and unknown.
HABINA is divided into various zones according to the concept and theme, and most of them reproduce that of planet ARIA using the technology of Earth, and acts as a place of encounter and symbiosis between the spirits of ARIA and the people of the Earth.
The back story leading up to the birth of HABINA is MUSICAL & LIVE SHOW “ARIA”, which started production in 2015 and performed for the first time in France in 2018.
REZONA[]
The first zone to appear is Zone 03 “REZONA” with a theme of entertainment. The VR ARIA THEATER is to be built in this REZONA zone. REZONA is a "place for sending and experiencing new entertainment" created in virtual space. Various entertainment facilities, including the Water Stage are to be built, which was unveiled at the IA & ONE anniversary event on January 27, 2021.[1]
ARIAs[]
IA, a spirit and virtual vocalist born on the planet ARIA, with all the energies of the seven colors that govern ARIA, was raised to be the "future leader of the planet ARIA". At one point, IA heard the screams of the Earth, which had reached its limit due to distortions caused by various discords such as conflict, crime, bullying, suicide, unstoppable desire. Nature that is destroyed, animals and plants that are driven to extinction.
While learning, IA departed for Earth and "landed" in 2012. At the beginning of the landing, IA was unable to exert her power on Earth where dissonance flew, but her younger sister OИE, who landed on the earth in 2015, followed IA and through the connection of love of people. Since then, in order to illuminate people's hearts and bring harmony, through activities as a virtual music artist, she grows herself while interacting with people and resonating and resonating.
ONE, the younger sister to IA [2] and fellow vocal created for CeVIO Creative Studio who is able to speak and sing. She is the second installment in the "-ARIA ON THE PLANETES-" project.
HIPPI an original character by 1st PLACE Co., Ltd. and the third installment in the "-ARIA ON THE PLANETES-" project. She taught IA how to play the guitar.

Four inhabitants of their planet were introduced and their relations to IA and ONE were revealed:
- A gray, multicolored cat named “チコー” (also known as "Neko-san" or simply as "cat") is one of the spirits that exists on ARIA. She acts as a mother and has been with IA and ONE all of their lives and came to Earth with ONE. She is described as being a very sweet cat that watches over IA and ONE.[3].
- The second member revealed is a large elder tree named "Chōrō" ("長老", meaning elder) or "Choro no ki", ("長老抜き", meaning the eldest tree). Chōrō is described to be one of the oldest spirits on Planet ARIA and acts as a "grandfather" figure to IA and ONE. He is very knowledgeable about ARIA and is connected to everything on the planet. He was described to have taught IA and ONE all that they know.[4]
- The third member revealed was a purple, bipedal cheetah named "チート" (also known as "Cheet") [5]. Cheet acts as IA and ONE's dance teacher. She is described as being stern and is able to move very quick.[6]
- The last member introduced in the series is a large white phoenix named "フェニックス" (also known as "Phoenix" or simply known as "Nix"[7]). He acts as a singing teacher and voice trainer for IA and ONE. It was revealed that he learned how to transform into a human form from Chōrō.[8]
During the IA 9th & ONE 6th Anniversary ‒Super LIVESHOW- on January 27, 2021, three additional characters were unveiled, one of whom bears the name "H" on their nametag (later revealed through a crowdfunding event to be HIPPI) and the other two being an anthropomorphic lion and a reindeer-like creature. Their relationship to IA (and ONE) is unknown, however, they were announced to be "ARIA" members.[9]

ARIA ON THE RADIO[]
To commemorate the release of IA TALK, 1st PLACE Co., Ltd. announced a series of radio program videos titled "ARIA ON THE RADIO" with IA and ONE acting as personalities. A total of four broadcasts were published between mid-February to early March 2017, and the first of which was be distributed on YouTube and Nico Nico Douga on February 17.[10]
ARIA STATION[]
A monthly information introduction program "ARIA STATION" presented by IA and ONE began airing March 28, 2018. IA and ONE would provide monthly updates of new products, events, and informative videos about IA and ONE such as their life on Planet ARIA.[11]

ARIA MUSICAL & LIVE SHOW is a live musical event showcasing the the story of IA and ONE (delivered through the connection of their spirits) coming from the fictional planet ARIA and living their current lives on Earth.
ARIA is described as a "mutual performance consisting of virtual and actual reality; a crossover of music, art, and technology; a completely new kind of live entertainment show - beyond the music live - experienced with all five senses."
The ARIA show is broken down into four chapters; the live part includes the “PARTY A GO-GO” performance which is a sequel to IA’s first world tour. At this show, viewers coould enjoy viewing the changes in her style of performance over the course of her time with us on the planet Earth.
The first ARIA performance was shown in 2019 at the DMM VR THEATER YOKOHAMA, and was unveiled focusing on the use of imaging technology (called a hologram for those who have never seen this type of show), the same technology used at the premiere performance in France in the Summer of 2018.[13]
VR ARIA THEATER[]
Starting April 23, 2021, a crowdfunding event was launched to build a permanent virtual reality VR ARIA THEATER that would be used primarily to showcase the ARIA MUSICAL & LIVE SHOW featuring IA, ONE & HIPPI as performers. The crowdfund, hosted through CAMPFIRE, raised over ¥12,379,500 yen with 566 supporters. The goal of the crowdfunder was to raise enough funds to build the VR ARIA THEATER and accompanying Water Stage. Various IA, ONE and HIPPI awards including acrylic stands, rubber charms, concert tickets for the VIRTUAL MUSIC JAM -CeVIO PARTY- and ARIA performances as well as guitars based off of the characters themselves were distributed to supporters.[14] The crowdfund concluded on June 28, 2021 and a special inauguration video was released.[15]
The VR ARIA THEATER is built within the REZONA zone of the virtual planet HABINA and features various facilities including:
