CeVIO Project (CeVIOプロジェクト) is the combined efforts of five companies each specializing in a different field of technology including: Frontier Works, Inc. (Visual concept design), Techno-Speech, Inc. (Artificial voice technology), V-Sync Co., Ltd. (Development), Upfield (Agency/Video distribution coordination) and Sony Music Entertainment (Arts & Repertoire). Together these companies are responsible for the development and creation of the CeVIO Creative Studio and CeVIO AI voice synthesis software as well as the CeVIO Vision technology that allows users to speak with virtual characters.

Frontier Works, Inc. (株式会社フロンティアワークス) is a Japanese company specializing in the creation and distribution of media related to anime.[1]

History[]

With a division called The CeVIO Team that developed the synthesizer program, they provided illustrations for the CeVIO Project.[2][3]

Techno-Speech, Inc. (テクノスピーチ) is a computer software developing company based in Nagoya City, Japan with a focus on developing voice synthesis and singing voice synthesis technology. On January 29, 2021, in collaboration with CeVIO Project and the National University Corporation Nagoya Institute of Technology, Techno-Speech, Inc. released CeVIO AI.

V-Sync Co., Ltd. (株式会社ブイシンク), stylized as V-SYNC, is a production company responsible for the planning, development and construction of content distribution systems (servers, terminals, networks, etc.) using wideband networks as well as network distribution service business for digital contents such as music and video. Together as part of the CeVIO Project team, V-Sync assisted in the development of CeVIO Creative Studio as well as heading the development of the digital signage board technology CeVIO Vision.[4]

upfield Co., Ltd. (有限会社アップフィールド) is a video distribution coordinating company and agency that assists in the production of project startups with services ranging from planning to production of projects such as craft novelties.[5]

Sony Music Entertainment (ソニー・ミュージックエンタテインメント), is an affiliation of the CeVIO Project and is responsible for web services centered on music and the planning of live events. Sony Music Entertainment has replaced the formerly listed companies SACRA MUSIC (サクラミュージック), a Japanese record label subsidiary of Sony Music Entertainment Japan whose name was posted on the "About CeVIO" section of CeVIO's official website and remained until its removal prior to April 13, 2021, and ultraCeep Inc. (株式会社ウルトラシープ), formerly a music, video, illustration, story and games production company that was officially dissolved on April 21, 2017 following a merge with Sony Music Entertainment.[6]
