History[]
2023[]
On March 25, 2023, a short trailer featuring several visually identical characters in cryogenic chambers was posted to the official Twitter account of the DEN-ON-BU project's antagonistic character Reml, a member of the Shin-Shinjuku GR School's electronic music club centered around the Kabuki Area district of Japan.[1]
During the DEN-ON-BU 3rd LIVE -SOUL EVOLUTION- concert held from June 24 through June 25, Reml announced the development of a CeVIO AI Song Voice titled Decentralized Autonomous Golem REML (分散型自律ゴーレム りむる), a mass-produced clone created by the global "GR company" based on her own likeness.[2]
On June 25, Reml, in association with Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. and the DEN-ON-BU project, formally announced the development of Decentralized Autonomous Golem REML.[3] An official website was launched and pre-order reservations for REML's Starter Pack and Song Voice began, which were available in packaged and download options. The packaged version would include a bonus album titled "REML to SHINE" featuring five cover songs of popular "DEN-ON-BU" songs using CeVIO AI.[4] The album would also be available for online purchase on August 23, 2023.[5][6]. Also included was a remix by picco of the song "YAKEZAKE", originally featuring Reml, with vocals provided by Wotoha, as well as a Pomemori "Voice Kit" (ボイスキット). In addition, music videos covering DEN-ON-BU songs using Decentralized Autonomous Golem REML were announced to be released on YouTube for five consecutive weeks. Her first demonstration song, a cover of "Hakahakai Princess" (ハカハカイプリンセス) produced by Shogo Nomura, was released the same day. She was announced to be releasing on August 11, 2023.[7] She released on August 11 as expected.
2024[]
On June 28, 2024, REML's CeVIO AI Song Voice was ported to the VoiSona Song software. Also, an update incorporating the 2.0 vocoder was announced, although this update was only immediately released for the VoiSona version, while the download link for the CeVIO AI 2.0.0 update was still pending release.[8]
On August 7, her CeVIO AI 2.0.0 update was finally released.[9]

Vocal traits as noted: | |
She carries a voice that is cute and nasal, which is suited best for high notes (at least above C4 where she might struggle a bit). She also has particular pitch articulation on some notes, making her sound cuter. As expected of a CeVIO AI vocal, she is meant to sound realistic in terms of voice quality, habits, and singing style. | |
