Futaba Kominato (ふたばこみなと) is an upcoming Japanese Song Voice developed and distributed by Gasoline Alley Inc., and was announced to be released for CeVIO AI and VoiSona in 2025.[2] She is the official childhood derivative of Futaba Minato.
She is voiced by Sachika Misawa, a Japanese voice actress and singer.[3]
Concept[]
Futaba Kominato is an official derivative character based upon the childhood image of Futaba Minato. She made her debut in December 2023 as the visual representation Futaba Minato's "幼い" (Osanai) expression for her CeVIO AI Talk Voice.

Appearance[]
Futaba Kominato has azure eyes and long dark blue hair with a lighter blue interior, tied into pigtails with two small blue ribbons. She wears a pair of light blue and white overalls, adorned with white bows, overtop a white-laced, short-sleeved shirt. Her bangs are adorned with a blue gemstone nested into a silver clasp, reminiscent of Futaba Minato's brooch. She wears a pair of white tennis shoes with blue laces and blue cat-themed socks. On her back she carries a blue Randoseru backpack adorned with various stickers of cats, two of which are rainbow-themed, a leaf-colored fish, a photo of an elongated cat, and two cat and fish-shaped keychains.[4] She is seen carrying a twig with a single green leaf.
Futaba Kominato was illustrated by Japanese illustrator hitoba.

2022[]
On August 18, 2022, a new CeVIO AI Song Voice, "Futaba Minato", was announced to be in development by Gasoline Alley Inc. in collaboration with CeVIO Project and was released in December 2022.[5][6]
2023[]
In September 2023, a crowdfunding campaign was launched with the goal of raising enough funds for speaking Talk Voice libraries for Minato, to be released for both CeVIO AI and VoiSona Talk, and was scheduled to start on October 20, with additional details to be announced in the future.[7][8] Shortly after the start of the crowdfund by October 23, the second goal of the crowdfund was met, allowing for the production and distribution of official portraits and character setting drawings of Minato with the emotional value of "young" as well as production of demo songs and music videos that utilize both of Minato's Talk and Song voices (using CeVIO AI and VoiSona, respectively).[9][10]
On December 22, a additional expression for Futaba Minato's Talk Voice was added named "幼い" (Osanai) featuring a more childish sound for Minato and was announced to be released on January 26, 2024.[11]
2024[]
Pre-order reservations for Minato's CeVIO AI Talk Voice were released on January 5, 2024 via DLsite. A commemorative 10%-off coupon was also included.[12] On January 8, CeVIO AI was updated to version 9.0.1.0, now compatible with Minato's version 1.0.0 Talk Voice.[13][14]
Futaba Minato's CeVIO AI Talk Voice was released on January 26, as expected, allowing users to activate their copies of the VoiSona Talk library before her official release at a later date.[15][16] Later that year in April 2024, the aforementioned youthful themed illustrations of Minato were released named "ふたば(こ)みなと" (Futaba (Ko)Minato), based on the emotional value of Minato's "幼い" voice and were intended to accompany the expression.[17]
2025[]
On April 25, 2025, the official Futaba Minato Twitter account announced the development of an official Song Voice for Futaba Kominato, now referred to as a character based on the childhood image of Futaba Minato, and was expecting to be released for CeVIO AI and VoiSona in 2025.[18]
