MYK-IV (エムワイケーフォー) also known as MAIKI V (マイキV) is a Japanese Song Voice developed and distributed by Techno-Speech, Inc., and released for VoiSona in July 2023.[1]

His voice is provided by the Japanese singer-songwriter and VOCALOID producer MAIKI (マイキ), also known as Maiki-P.[2]

Concept[]

MYK-IV was conceptualized as an 18-year-old android equipped with the voice of MAIKI's singing AI. The drum sticks he holds in his hands double as microphones. The geometric patterns on his costume serve as integrated drum pads with built-in speakers, allowing for customizable tones. When he has free time, he often starts impromptu sessions.

Etymology[]

His nickname likely stems from MAIKI's own name.

Appearance[]

MYK-IV is an android with the appearance of an eighteen-year-old man. He has magenta colored hair with black tips on his bangs. His pupils are green and pink with yellow rings. Around the corners of his eyes is a magenta circle. His fingernails are painted hot pink. MYK-IV wears a white crop top cut at an angle, form-fitting black pants, and a bubblegum colored coat. His coat has large pockets on the hips, a black hem, a silver and magenta circle pattern, a belt that connects both sides together. His chunky sneakers are wine red with white soles and black and sliver straps. His accessories consist of a black headset, black choker, gold chain necklace with a “MYK” charm, and wine red drumsticks with black tips.

MYK-IV was illustrated by the Japanese illustrator LAM.
