Restricted access

These are vocals that producers have, or currently have limited access to.

Trial versions

Trial versions of voice libraries are often released to act as a method of users testing to see if they like the vocal. Trial versions tend to have restrictions such as limited day usage or limited functions. Often they have other issues with them, such as they are made from beta versions of the software. Producers making demos might also be issued Beta versions of pre-released CeVIOs & VoiSonas or even the full version of the software.

This section contains those that were made able to be accessed by the general public, in many cases, the demo is only given out for a limited amount of time or issued on a limited number with a magazine or other means. All other pre-released versions or unreleased versions are listed elsewhere in the "Restricted Access" section. On occasion, a CeVIO may also come with demo versions of other CeVIOs & VoiSonas made by the same studio which may or may not be declared prior to purchase, in this case they may be absent from this page because of the difficulty in confirming them.

Retired Vocals

There are some CeVIO voice libraries that were available commercially that have now been removed from sale or will be removed from sale in the near future. Vocals that have seen retirement may continue to be sold for some time after their initial retirement; however, they are on limited supply and will sell only while the stock lasts. Their usage is limited to those who are able to access these vocals before or since their retirement, as no new stock has been released containing their vocals.

Please note that when a new version of the engine is released, there is a risk of support for older versions being removed. They may or may not be removed from sale.

	The CeVIO Creative Studio FREE engine was officially retired from distribution on November 19, 2014, thus retiring the two free editions of Sato Sasara that came with the engine.

	On October 15, 2021, the CeVIO Project staff and JOYSOUND announced the discontinuation of the Color Voice Series vocals as of January 14, 2022. It was noted on the official CeVIO website that users may still be able to use their purchased copies of the Color Voice Series, however, the software may be unsupported due to operating system version upgrades.
Chis-A (CeVIO Pro)	Techno-Speech, Inc.
	With the release of VoiSona version 0.6.2 on July 7, 2022, Techno-Speech announced officially that the alpha version of CeVIO Pro up to version 0.5.0 would no longer be available on August 31, 2022 alongside Chis-A's Song Voice.

Beta/Prototype voice libraries

These vocals exist but are only prototypes and usually, but not always, listed with a "β" ("beta") on their name. There is no indication they were ever meant to be commercial products.

Users later discovered through viewing the internal files of CeVIO Creative Studio that a Talk Voice was in development for Luo Tianyi at a point in time. The details of her development and/or cancellation are unknown.
Sara	XING Co., Ltd.	Users discovered through viewing the internal files of CeVIO Creative Studio that a pair of English Song Voice libraries by the names of "Sara" (an English-capable feminine database) and "Carter" (an English-capable masculine database) were being developed by XING Co., Ltd. at a point in time. The details of Sara's development and/or cancellation are unknown.
Carter	XING Co., Ltd.	Users discovered through viewing the internal files of CeVIO Creative Studio that a pair of English Song Voice libraries by the names of "Sara" (an English-capable feminine database) and "Carter" (an English-capable masculine database) were being developed by XING Co., Ltd. at a point in time. The details of Carter's development and/or cancellation are unknown.
Female Mandarin Chinese AI voice database	Techno-Speech, Inc.	On December 14, 2018, Techno-Speech, Inc., in collaboration with the Nagoya Institute of Technology Speech and Language Processing Laboratory, showcased various samples incorporating the use of AI deep learning technology. The samples featured the AI singing voice databases of Sato Sasara, singing in Japanese, and IA, singing in English as well as an unnamed vocalist singing in Mandarin Chinese.

	On April 25, 2025, the official Futaba Minato Twitter account announced the development of an official Song Voice for Futaba Kominato, a derivative character based on the childhood image of Futaba Minato, and was first expected to be released for CeVIO AI and VoiSona in 2025. On November 4, 2025, the release date was announced to be postponed. 	UNI-chan Song Voice	U-Stella Inc.
	On June 20, 2023, U-Stella Inc. announced a new crowdfunding campaign with the goal of developing a CeVIO AI Talk Voice for UNI, also known as UNI-chan (ユニちゃん). Her voice was announced to be provided by the Japanese voice actress and singer Riko Kohara (小原莉子). Crowdfunding was set to begin on June 26, 2023. A stretch goal for the development of a Song Voice for UNI was also announced. By June 30, UNI's crowdfund was successfully funded, exceeding 100% of the initial goal. UNI's potential Song Voice was announced to be funded if the crowdfund could reach 300% of the initial goal. The second stretch goal for the production of UNI's CeVIO AI Song Voice was achieved on July 23. The crowdfund concluded on July 24, reaching 405% of the initial goal, with a total of ¥18,255,500 yen raised by 947 supporters. UNI-chan's Talk Voice was released on April 26, 2024; production of her Song Voice, albeit funded, has not yet been started.

VoiSona

These are VoiSona voicebanks known to be in production. Their status and licensing are unknown, but most are presumed to have commercial licenses.

	On October 31, 2025, 774 inc. announced on their official Twitter the opening of an official website for a new VoiSona Song Voice library by the name of ichica, sourced upon their virtual talent and VTuber Souya Ichika. She was announced on her official website to have two different singing styles, called "Cool" and "Cute". The official VoiSona Twitter account also officially confirmed the information. Her physical was made for pre-orders on her BOOTH on January 11, 2026. She is currently expected to release on April 11, 2026.
	Futaba Kominato	Gasoline Alley Inc.
	On April 25, 2025, the official Futaba Minato Twitter account announced the development of an official Song Voice for Futaba Kominato, a derivative character based on the childhood image of Futaba Minato, and was first expected to be released for CeVIO AI and VoiSona in 2025. On November 4, 2025, the release date was announced to be postponed. The project was noted to be continuing to progress, with the development team aiming to ensure that the software releases in its best possible form.
	MECHASUZUKA	Ichimatsu Suzuka (Techno-Speech, Inc.)
	On November 28, 2025, Japanese Ichimatsu doll Virtual YouTuber Ichimatsu Suzuka announced the development of a new VoiSona vocal based on her voice to be developed by Techno-Speech, Inc.. A short trailer was shown with a silhouette of the vocalist shown at the end. A crowdfunding page hosted by CAMPFIRE was launched, the start date currently unrevealed.

	On January 25, 2022, two polls were released on the official FEE-chan Twitter account inquiring users about their potential interest in a Song Voice for FEE as well as a packaged version of her Talk Voice. The polls concluded with 60.7% of votes stating that they would be interested in purchasing FEE's Song Voice at a later date and 78.9% of the votes stating they would like to see a packaged version of FEE's Talk Voice. The packaged version of FEE's Talk Voice was later achieved and released on December 23, 2022, however, a statement by U-Stella Inc. Representative Director and CEO Shiratori Koyomi revealed that among various other internal issues, the package edition of FEE was cited a cause of company-wide collapse due to the complexity of the packaging and budget constraints. The status of FEE's Song Voice production as a result is currently unknown. On June 20, 2023, U-Stella Inc. announced a crowdfunding campaign with the goal of developing a CeVIO AI Talk Voice for FEE's older sister and fellow "Caricature" (カリカチュア) android UNI, also known as'"UNI-chan" (ユニちゃん). The official FEE-chan Twitter account quote retweeted the announcement seeming to imply that UNI's Song Voice was being developed in lieu of her own Song Voice.
IA English Talk Voice	1st PLACE Co., Ltd.
	On March, 27, 2022, IA hosted an ARIAers TV broadcast Q&A where one viewer asked if an English Talk Voice for IA would be developed for CeVIO AI. IA responded stating that it was a secret. No additional information was presented at the time.
HIPPI	1st PLACE Co., Ltd.
	On March, 27, 2022, IA hosted an ARIAers TV broadcast Q&A where one viewer asked if HIPPI would be released for CeVIO AI. IA responded enthusiastically stating that she wanted HIPPI to be made, however, there was no additional information presented at the time.

Awaiting further confirmation

The following are possible upcoming voicebanks whose statuses are not yet clarified, or they are vocal developments that were announced but have not had any updates about their statuses within the last six months.

ROSA English

ZAN-SHIN Co., Ltd.

On March 20, 2021, HirotoP confirmed that ROSA, CUL's younger sister, was in production for Synthesizer V and CeVIO AI in Japanese and English. According to the project timeline, they were releasing ROSA's voice databases in this order: Japanese CeVIO AI Talk, Japanese Synthesizer V AI, English CeVIO AI Talk, and English Synthesizer V AI. ROSA's Japanese CeVIO AI talk voicebank was released on December 17, and her Synthesizer V AI voice database, which in addition to Japanese would be also capable of singing in English (as well as other supported languages) through Synthesizer V Studio's Cross-lingual Singing Synthesis feature, was released on June 3, 2024. Production of her CeVIO AI English voice has not yet been funded nor started. There have been no further developments regarding ROSA's proposed English CeVIO AI Talk since it was first mentioned on March 20, 2021 rendering the current status unknown. As a result of issues arising within ZAN-SHIN Co., Ltd. and a current investigation for possible embezzlement concerning the usage of funds related to ROSA's oldest sister WhiteCUL's crowdfunded VOCALOID6, it could reasonably be assumed that development on this project may be halted or canceled. It should be noted that all ZAN-SHIN Co., Ltd. iconography, characters and IP were removed from Shirayuki's Cafe&Bar 39Party* following ZAN-SHIN"s response to the aforementioned issues.
