History[]
On August 26, 2023, in celebration of VoiSona's first anniversary on September 1, Techno-Speech, Inc. announced a new upcoming Talk Voice vocal for their newly unveiled text-to-speech software addition to the the VoiSona brand, VoiSona Talk. The vocal was not yet named, being referred to as "***" at the time, and was previewed with a black silhouette. Alongside the announcement was the simultaneous announcement of VoiSona Talk libraries to be developed for the CeVIO AI vocalists Sato Sasara, Suzuki Tsudumi and Takahashi Amato.[1]
On August 31, the first demonstration sample was for the newly announced VoiSona Talk vocalist Tanaka San was released and the official release date was announced to be the following day on September 1 to coincide with VoiSona's first anniversary. The VoiSona Talk interface was shown and examples of the engine's various parameters such as variations of the Accent "ACC" parameter and her five Style "STY" presets, "Normal", "Happy", "Bashful", "Angry", and "Sad" were shown. Sato Sasara, Suzuki Tsudumi and Takahashi Amato's VoiSona Talk libraries were also shown.[2][3]
Takahashi Amato's Talk Voice was released for VoiSona Talk on September 1 as intended as a free download with a valid and activated CeVIO AI Takahashi Talk Voice license key and could be downloaded from the official Techno-Speech, Inc. VoiSona Talk website after redeeming the key.[4][5][6] The vocal performs identical to the CeVIO AI Talk Voice including the same presets as the former. A commemorative interview was hosted by Sato Sasara, Suzuki Tsudumi, Takahashi Amato and Tanaka San, who were asked to share their thoughts about each other.[7][8]
