Tomo (トモ) is a Japanese Talk Voice announced to be developed and distributed by Techno-Speech, Inc. and was released for VoiSona Talk as an included bonus vocalist accompanying the VoiSona Talk packaged edition of Chis-A in November 2025. She made her first appearance in the official VoiSona Lab 4-koma manga series in October 2023.

Her voice provider has not been revealed.

Concept[]

While an official profile has not been released, her official illustrator Minotake revealed that Tomo is the laboratory director of the official "VoiSona Lab" laboratory, the same lab of which Chis-A resides. Tomo is among the various members of VoiSona Lab who assist in the growth of Chis-A by supplying her with vocal data each day. Tomo has also been shown to take on an almost parental or supervisorial role to Chis-A who affectionately refers to her as "Mama". This could imply that she is the creator of Chis-A.[1]

Tomo first appears in Episode 2 of the official VoiSona Lab 4-koma manga series accompanying Chis-A, Kirune and AiSuu. She is shown to be calm, friendly, and encouraging and teaches various lessons to Chis-A.[2] Tomo did not have a known official name mentioned in the manga until the release of the serialized booklet version of the manga which mentioned her name in quotes. It was also clarified that she is the official VoiSona Lab director.[3] She was featured primarily as a background character, assisting the VoiSona characters in their daily lives and gradually receiving minor speaking roles toward the end of the manga series.[4][5][6] Her first major appearance occurs in Episode 11 where she offers parental guidance to Chis-A.[7]
